Made with renewable electricity on Whole garment seamless knitting machines which create no waste. A more intelligent way to manufacture jumpers.

Shetland style wool sweater made in one piece using zero waste knitting technology pioneered in Japan. The combination of new technology and Scottish knitwear know-how makes for a great fitting and wonderfully soft jumper.

We chose the saddle shoulder armhole shape as this fits most body types very well and works to perfection with a classic crew neck. The ribbed neck, hem and cuffs are set out in a 2x1 pattern and this adds just the right amount of ruggedness to the sweater that is truly for all seasons. Hand wash (this really is the way to make your knitwear last) or dry clean only.

We use Shetland style wool which is a blend of approximately 50% Lambswool for softness and 50% thicker micron British wool to give the unmistakeable character of Shetland wool.

50 wonderful colours to pick from. These shades have been blended in the north east of Scotland where the light brings a clarity to the spinner.

We wash our jumpers in soft Scottish lowland water, this helps reduce the amount of soap we use in the process and leaves our products very soft to the touch.

Once knitted, the Jumpers go through our hand finishing department. Then, the time served tradition of Scottish knitwear craft can cast hands and eyes over the jumpers to ensure each one is sewed, washed and checked over. We are proud of what we make here.

Our knitting machine partners, Shima Seiki, have long been market leaders in driving forward knitting technology. The Japanese company first pioneered whole garment or one piece knitting techniques back in the early 1990’s and have honed the concept for the past 2 decades. We are so sure this is the future of knitting and have invested in 12 of these machines over the past few years.
